6.3.9.4 GET ClaimNotification

6.3.9.4.1 Purpose

This command can be used by the licensee to request MusicalWorkClaimNotificationMessage(s) containing right share claims from the licensor.

The licensee will make a GET ClaimNotification call, after appropriate authentication if present, to each URL provided in a response to a GET ClaimNotificationList call previously received from the licensor’s web service endpoint.

6.3.9.4.2 Syntax of reply

The licensor’s web service endpoint shall return one of the following standard HTTP status codes with their standard HTTP response code semantics:

  • 200 (OK);

  • 202 (Request accepted);

  • 400 (Bad request);

  • 401 (Unauthorised);

  • 404 (Not found);

  • 503 (Service unavailable due to a temporary overloading or maintenance of the server); and

  • 500 (Internal server error).

Other standard HTTP status codes may be used in accordance with a bilateral agreement between the licensee and the licensor.

If the HTTP status code is 200, and the licensor has the relevant right share claims data, the licensor’s web service endpoint shall also return to the licensee’s web service endpoint an XML document containing valid MusicalWorkClaimNotificationMessage(s).
