6.3.10 Atom feed
The Atom feeds shall follow the syntax of an Atom feed as defined in the XML Schema Definition file.
The Atom feed entry elements in the left-hand column of the table below map to the elements in the relevant DDEX messages as listed in the right-hand column respectively.

Atom feed entries should be in the feed sequentially, that is the oldest entry should be at the top and the latest addition should be at the bottom. A feed provider may, however, add and remove entries at its own discretion.
The number of entry composites in the Atom feed is not prescribed by this standard. The web service provider may, however, want to set a maximum number of entries in the feed in collaboration with its business partner(s).
The following link types can be communicated in the XML attributes //feed/link/@rel

: Provides the URL of the feed itself;Next
: Provides the URL to the next feed “page”, in those cases where there is more than one feed page available; andPrevious
: Provides the URL to the previous feed “page”, in those cases where there is more than one feed page available.
