6.2.4 Supporting file naming convention

Any document supporting a DDEX message in a batch shall be placed into the same folder as the XML message and be named as follows: FFFF_NNNN.ext with

  • FFFF being the file name (without extension) of the file to which supporting information is provided;

  • NNNN being a serial number; and

  • ext being an extension suitable to the data type (e.g. xml for an XML file or csv for a comma-separated value flat file).
